Realizados no dia 18 de setembro durante o Congresso Saber 2008, os concursos contemplaram Marília com os seguintes prêmios:

O clima era tenso, pois o ambiente estava cheio, muitas caravanas de cidades com torcidas organizadas, com bandeiras, apitos, uniformes e gritos de guerra ensaiados para empurrar suas cidades.
Muitas caixas com cenários os mais variados, fantasias e lembrancinhas para os jurados.
Chegamos discretamente com nossa gente, no máximo 15 pessoas e tranquilamente fomos apresentando nossos projetos em cada uma das etapas que se seguiram.
Ao final das apresentações, no momento da premiação o ambiente ficou mais tenso ainda, pois naquele momento seriam revelados os resultados, que coroaria todo trabalho da escola e também saciaria toda expectativa crescente desde 2005.
Foi então anunciada a premiação em 1º lugar da EMEF "Prof. Antonio Ribeiro" com o projeto "A Paz no trânsito", no I Concurso Internacional "Repórter Mirim" do Clube da
Tabuada, o que nos deixou muito felizes, afinal foi a primeira vez que uma EMEF de Marília ganhara um 1º lugar em Concurso Multimídia.
Logo em seguida premiaram a EMEF "Prof. Olímpio Cruz" com o projeto "Cultura não tem idade" dos alunos da EJA, com o EMEF Destaque Nacional do II Concurso Internacional Visual Class Saber 2008 - Saber 2008. Mais uma vez Marília inovou, pois pela primeira vez houve a participação de alunos da EJA (Educação de Jovens e Adultos) que puderam mostrar como a educação transforma as pessoas.
E finalmente a não mais importante, mas tão esperada premiação do V Concurso Nacional Multimídia Visual Class para Prefeituras - Multimídia Educacional que após a leitura dos destaques nacionais e internacionais, começou com a leitura do 3º lugar, que agraciou com 535 pontos a cidade de Quatá-SP com o Projeto "Turma da Alegria" e então depois de muito suspense, foi lido o nome da cidade de Manaus-AM com 542 pontos e que portanto coroou Marília com 560 pontos a campeã do V Concurso Nacional Multimídia.
Esperamos com essa premiação projetar mais uma vez a excelência de nossa educação e demonstrar o quanto estamos no caminho certo, com uma educação de qualidade aliada à uma tecnologia educacional séria e corretamente planejada.
